We make artisan jewelry
Soulgems originated from a love for unique jewelry. In my small studio next to my house I make jewelry that's not available anywhere else. My passion lies in making jewelry that's not available at any other jeweler. I design, draw and make jewelry by appointment.
In addition to my studio at home, I also collaborate with jeweler Verto in Veldhoven. That way I can also supply the new techniques. If something is hard to make by hand the new techniques can be helpful, this way I can still express my creative freedom.
I will never be able to compete with a mass production jeweler, especially since I don’t have a mega factory that can produce 1000 wedding rings per hour. I am however trained as a goldsmith with a recognised diploma at the Ambachtshuis in Eindhoven. In this 3-year course I gained the knowledge of a real craft. As an entrepreneur I am good at making unique things for people who want to have an heirloom made with a story.
